ALKEMEDIA PRODUCTIONS ANNOUNCES 3000 USERS IN 3 MONTHS FOR WEDDING PLANNING CDROM

DENVER, CO (PR WEB) April 23, 2003 — Alkemedia Productions, a digital media design and development company, today announced that it now has over 3000 users of its Essential Wedding Planner CDROM since the initial release in January 2003.

The Essential Wedding Planner is the first product to offer both wedding planning software and interactive vendor content on CDROM for the wedding industry. The planning software features a simple, easy-to-use interface that allows brides and grooms to track expenses – including deposits, balances due and total expenses – as well as dates, guests, vendors, and seating charts.

Multimedia presentations from vendors are contained on the CDROM, allowing brides to get more information about the services offered instead of running around to vendors that don’t suit their needs. There are 10 categories of vendors covering all aspects of wedding planning including caterers, entertainers, wedding attire, and travel. The vendor presentations include a one-minute commercial, off-loadable brochure and are linked directly to a vendor’s web site.

The Essential Wedding Planner on CDROM works on Windows and MAC OSX platforms. A new version of the software will be available in July 2003.
